Spicy Chicken Wing Recipe

Spicy Chicken WingSpicy Wings (not Buffalo style)

Marinade:

4 T vegetable oil
4 T lime juice
3 T chopped garlic
2 T soy sauce
2 T sugar
3 t grated fresh ginger
2 t black pepper
2-4 t cayenne pepper

Marinade a couple dozen wings in zip lock bags in the fridge for 4 hours or more.  Put them on a baking tray and bake at 400 for about 25 minutes.  Flip ‘em, then continue to bake until they shine like the eyes of an innocent child. Serve straight up or with a hot sauce of your choice (I like Crystal).

T=Tablespoon
t=teaspoon

    Dumb question: What’s are a “T” and a “t,” a teaspoon or tablespoon?

    LOVE your blog. – George

      Not dumb at all; silly of me to forget to leave an explanation (which I’ll fix right now). Yes, T is tablespoon and t is teaspoon. I’ve never liked Tbsp and tsp for some reason.

      And thanks for the compliment – if you’d be kind enough to subscribe using those big-ass links in the right sidebar, and follow me on Twitter, I’d appreciate it – trying hard to build up some traction….

      Thanks again for coming and reading – I really appreciate it.

        Thanks for the quick reply.

        I bookmarked your site. I manually check my favorite blogs daily and others 2-3 times a week.

        I’m a computer dinosaur and don’t use Twitter or have a clue what an “RSS Feed” is or how they work.

        By the way, I first heard about your site via my old colleague Jan Norris’ website.

          No worries – I’m just glad you found me, particularly through Jan, whom I adore. An RSS feed is just a compilation of updated articles that you can use a news reader like Google Reader to easily review daily, or weekly. I use Reader to keep up with technology blogs because I edit the Technology Channel at Technorati. No big deal at all.

          Then Jan does a daily email newsletter that’s basically the same thing, in which you get an email with whatever has been newly posted in the last 24 hours. I do the same thing, but it’s just about making it easier for people to keep up. No worries at all, I’m just happy you enjoy the writing and will be stopping by.

    Just curious . . . you have fresh ginger listed twice. I presume it should only be 3t.
